Meet Raleigh Estate Attorney
David E. Dean
Originally from Waxhaw, NC, David practiced in Charlotte and the surrounding areas for several years helping families with estate planning, estate administration, guardianships, elder law, and contested estate matters.
After moving to the Raleigh area in 2021, David continued his focus in these areas.
“Estate Planning is such a rewarding area of law to practice because I have the opportunity to help so many families prepare for the future, so when the unexpected happens I know those who I have been able to work with are secure and protected.”

With a broad range of estates experience, David has had the opportunity to appear in courts all across the state and has helped families from the mountains of North Carolina all the way to the coast.
As a solo practitioner, David enjoys communicating directly with clients, and takes pride in giving everyone the personalized attention their matter deserves, no matter how simple or complex.
“The best feeling in the world is receiving Christmas cards, birthday invitations, and even wedding invitations. It lets me know that I have done my job and my clients feel that I am part of the family.”
In his free time David enjoys playing golf, cheering on the Carolina Panthers and Wake Forest Demon Deacons, playing with his dogs Walter and Forest, and visiting new places with his wife.
